This crisp and hoppy old style Genever is a tribute to the ‘kopstoot’, a typical Dutch drinking habit where you combine beer with Genever; so pair this Genever with your favourite Weizen, I.P.A or any good lager and create your own perfect ‘Kopstoot’. There is no mutual agreed history behind this typical Dutch drinking habit. Most likely it evolved in the 50’s  in working-class café’s in Amsterdam. Those places  where man loved to drink beer with genever after a  day of hard work. The boozy kick of this delicacy was named the Kopstoot. Our Kever Kopstoot is distilled in our Distillery just outside of Amsterdam. The Distillery is called De Tweekoppige Phoenix.

Taste Profile
Light yellowish appearance. Malty, floral citrusy tones of hops, sweetness of distillate of pineapple, and a pleasant tingling finish of timut pepper.

How to Drink it
